Shane is like a star: always confident and instantly attracting the attention around him. Jonathan, studious and sturdy, revolves around him like a planet. Suddenly, the peaceful universe of these two childhood friends is disturbed when Taiwan-born schoolgirl Carrie transfers to their school from Hong Kong. She convinces Jonathan to join her on a secret day-trip to Taipei, her botched effort to seduce him in a sleazy love hotel, combined with her observations of he and Shane's friendship, soon leads her to believe that the object of her affections is homosexual and in love with his best friend.

About the Director

Leste Chen was born in 1981 in Taipei and is a well-known director in the Mandarin film industry. He entered the film industry right after graduating from Fu-Hsin Trade & Arts School. His first award-nominated film was his short film 'Kuan Fung', which was nominated for the 2004 Venice Film Festival International Film Critics Week Competition and Tokyo Film Festival.

In 2006, his feature film 'Eternal Summer' became a smash hit in Asia, making it a classic LGBTQIA+ film in the Mandarin film industry. In addition, he is also a music video director who has worked with several famous singers such as Mayday, Jolin Tsai, Fish Liang and Rainie Yang. In recent years, he is best known for films like 'The Great Hypnotist', '20 Once Again' and 'Battle of Memories'. In 2021, his latest title 'Upcoming Summer' also has achieved a great box-office record.
