A coming of age story with a criminal twist.

Peipei is studying in Hong Kong while she lives in Shenzhen, a busy harbour city on mainland China. The last sixteen years of her life, Peipei has spent travelling between these two cities. She dreams of seeing snow in Japan with her best friend. To get the money, Peipei joins a smuggling gang and uses her student ID to smuggle iPhones from Hong Kong to the mainland. Her family relationships and friendships begin to fall apart and her daily life starts to get out of control.

About the Director

Bai Xue is a Chinese director. She graduated from the Department of Directing (Feature Film) of Beijing Film Academy in 2007. In 2017, she participated in the second CFDG China Youth Film Director Support Program (also known as the Green Plan) hosted by the China Film Directors Association, being among the top five.
